What is the nearest airport to Brewster By The Sea Inn?

We have two airports to consider – Logan Airport in Boston, and Providence Airport in Rhode Island. Both are about a 90-minute drive from the Inn, but you can expect to experience a bit more traffic between Boston and the Cape.

Do I need a car to visit Cape Cod?

Yes! The Cape is very rural, and while we have some public transportation, if you want to have the flexibility to visit all or most of our 15 towns, we recommend renting a car for your trip.

Do you have a pool?

Yes! We have an outdoor pool that is open between May 15th and October 15th. It is not heated.

Do you have a hot tub?

No, we do not have a hot tub.

Do you provide Beach Towels and Beach Chairs?

Yes! We provide beach towels and chairs for your use during your stay.

Do you provide Parking Passes for the Brewster Beaches?

No, the town sells the passes directly to visitors on their website. They use your license plate as the pass, so no need to print anything – it is all done online.

Do you provide bicycles?

No, we do not provide bicycles to our guests.

Do you have a safe place for us to park our bicycles?

Yes! You may park your bikes safely at the Inn for the duration of your stay.

Do you provide hair dryers?

Yes! Each room has a hair dryer located under the bathroom sink.

Are there coffee makers, refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms?

Yes! All of our rooms have a coffeemaker, electric tea kettle, refrigerator/freezer and microwave.

Is smoking allowed at the Inn?

No, there is no smoking or vaping allowed at the Inn.

How are the rooms furnished?

Each room has a king-sized bed with night stands, two sitting chairs, a table and chairs for dining, as well as a coffee maker, tea kettle, refrigerator/freezer and microwave. Each room has a smart TV with cable services, and you may log into your personal subscription services.

Do the rooms have fireplaces?

Yes! All of the rooms have gas fireplaces.

Do the rooms have Smart TVs?

Yes! All of the rooms have smart TVs, so you may log in to your personal subscription services.

What time is check-in and check-out?

We have a contact-less check in; on the morning of your arrival we will text the room lock code to you with instructions.  We will be here to greet you for your arrival between 3-6pm.  If you arrive after 6:00, we are on call, available to assist.  We often have the rooms ready before 3:00, and will send you a text as soon as your room is ready.  We are happy to accommodate early check-ins whenever possible – please call ahead to make arrangements. Check out is prior to 10:30.

Can I check in late?

Yes, of course. We will be here to greet you for your arrival between 3-6pm. If you arrive after 6:00, we are on call, available to assist as needed.

What type of Housekeeping Services do you provide?

To protect your privacy and safety, we will not enter your room during your stay, unless requested. We are always available to remove trash and refresh your towels and amenities as needed. For stays longer than four nights, we will clean your room and refresh your sheets and towels every three days.

Are there any laundry facilities on the premises?

We provide a laundry service of wash/dry/fold at a rate of $15.00 per load.

Do you have a conference room or area for business meetings?

We do not have any rooms to facilitate any business meetings.

Do you host off-site business retreats?

Our Inn is not suitable for business retreats.

Do you do weddings and events at the inn?

Our Inn is not suitable for weddings or other events.

May I rent the entire inn?

Yes! You may rent all four rooms for your family vacation!

Do you offer ADA compliant rooms and/or features at the inn?

We are a historic home and due to the nature of the property, there are no first floor guest rooms that do not require steps.

Do you have onsite parking?

Yes, we have one parking spot for each of our guest rooms on the property. Should you be arriving in more than one vehicle, please let us know in advance so we can make accommodations for you.

How many rooms are in the Inn?

We have four guest rooms, all of which have en suite bathrooms. We have one Suite, and three rooms – all with King beds. All of our rooms are located in our guest house, which is named, “The Orchard House.”

What is included in our Best Available Room Rate?

With our room rate, you will enjoy the amenities of a boutique Inn and the hospitality of a small owner-run establishment. A Full Complimentary Breakfast is served each morning. In the warmer months, breakfast is served by the pool. In the colder months and on rainy days, breakfast is served in the Main House at individual tables set for two. Wifi is free, and each room has a smart TV so you may log into your personal subscription services.

Does the Inn have Air Conditioning?

Yes, each guest room has a mini-split with its own exterior compressor – which means the air in your room is not circulated with other rooms at the Inn.

What is your breakfast like?

Our complimentary breakfast is prepared fresh each morning. Each evening the next morning’s menu is placed in the hutch in the foyer of the Orchard House. We alternate between a sweet and savory breakfast each day. Breakfast begins with fruit and a baked item for you to enjoy while we prepare the morning’s entrée. We, of course, have fresh-brewed coffee and teas to accompany your breakfast. If you do not care for the morning’s menu, we offer an alternative of either granola and yogurt, or eggs and toast.

Can you accommodate special diets?

Yes! We are happy to accommodate your dietary needs, and appreciate advance notice so we may be fully prepared for you.

Are you child and pet friendly?

We gladly host guests over the age of 14. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets due to potential allergies of our other guests. We welcome registered service animals.

What is your cancellation policy?

We are a very small Inn, and cancellations affect us significantly. Once you make your reservation, if you should change or cancel at any time, there is a $35.00 cancellation fee. Should you change or cancel your reservation within 14 days of arrival, you are still responsible for the entire amount due. We will attempt to rebook your room and if we successfully rebook your entire stay, we will refund your deposit or provide you with credit for a future stay. We cannot make exceptions to this policy, so if you are concerned about the ability to cancel, we suggest purchasing trip insurance.
