Grumpy’s Restaurant is 2.5 miles west of the Inn, in East Dennis. This popular Cape Cod favorite has been around for decades and offers a full array of breakfast dishes. They offer dine-in and take-out. 508 835 2911
The Peacemaker, 2.7 miles from the Inn makes breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and has become a popular spot to pick up a sandwich for a beach day as well!
Operating since 2015, Snowy Owl Coffee Roasters is about 3.6 miles from the Inn and offers specialty coffee drinks and teas. Their baked goods are sourced from local bakeries. It is a popular spot for locals, so if you want to learn more about what’s happening in Brewster — this spot may be for you.
The Underground Bakery is a hidden gem in Dennis, and is just 4.2 miles from Brewster By The Sea Inn. It is currently take-out only, and their menu reflects is with “a variety of foods that can best be described as quick, unusual, imaginative and satisfying”, including vegan offerings. Note: It is literally under the first floor of the buildings, so look down for the entrance, when you’re pulling in.

If you’re heading east, toward the National Seashore, try the award winning Hole In One Restaurant and Bakery in Orleans. It is 7.7 miles from here, and offers a large menu of traditional breakfast options. Omelets and Eggs Benedict to pancakes and French Toast.
The Hot Chocolate Sparrow is a popular spot for specialty coffee drinks, bakery items, and egg sandwiches, all made for take out. It, too, is in Orleans, 7.7 miles from here. (They also have ice cream, if you’re having a craving.)

One of our favorite restaurants is about 10 miles from Brewster By The Sea Inn — Hangar B Eatery. It is located at the Chatham Airport, and you can watch the small planes take off and land from the second-story perch. Their diverse menu blends traditional offerings with non-traditional flavors and ingredients, which leads to a unique and yummy experience.
