Things to Do on Cape Cod in August

We’re halfway through the summer season, but we believe that the best is yet to come! Book your Cape Cod vacation today and plan your trip with our list of things to do on the Cape in August.

August 2-4: Martha’s Vineyard Book Festival

Take a day trip to Martha’s Vineyard and tap into your inner bookworm by checking out the Martha’s Vineyard Book Festival. The free weekend festival hosts a chock-full schedule of engaging panels and author talks.

August 6-8: Society of Cape Cod Fine Art and Craft Festival

One of the best parts about Brewster By The Sea’s location is the fact that we’re right across the street from Drummer Boy Park! The park hosts a farmers’ market every Sunday and is the site of the 67th Annual Cape Cod Fine Art and Craft Festival. Shop local vendors and artisans and find the perfect souvenir or gift to bring home from your Cape Cod vacation!

August 10: Cape Cod Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival

Enjoy bites from delicious food trucks and sip on local brews at the 7th Annual Cape Cod Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival in Falmouth.

August 15 & 19: Provincetown Jazz Festival

If you’re a fan of jazz, you won’t want to miss the 15th Annual Provincetown Jazz Festival! Head to The Crown & Anchor in Provincetown on August 15 and the Cotuit Center for the Arts on August 19 for two nights of music and fun.

August 25: Quahog Festival

Support the local community and check out Cape Cod Beer’s 2nd Annual Quahog Festival. Enjoy live music, learn more about the Cape’s natural resources, and try local seafood, wine, and beer!

We still have rooms available in August and would love to host you! Book your Cape Cod vacation today.
